Well. I'm Joni. My stepson's mom gave him "permission" to call me Mama Joni and while he only calls me Joni I figured "hey, that's got a ring to it" and I'm putting it to use myself.

I used to have a mildly successful book review blog called Lost In YA Wonderland. That was back in the days B.T. (Before Twins)
I might be addicted to the internet.
Enough about me. I'll get to plenty of things about me as time goes on, I'm sure.
I have kids, as you may have gathered.
Novaleigh is 8.
Thomas is 6.
Arabella (Belle) is 3.
Asher is 3.
Thomas is my stepson and his mother would prefer for his picture to not be on here so the above pic is 3/4 of my kids.
Facts about my kids
Novaleigh lives with her dad, stepmom and brothers during the week and I see her weekends plus any extra day when she doesn't have school and more often in summer. The schedule is very flexible and I get along decent with her dad and great with her stepmom.
She is 8 with the attitude of a teenager, stubborn as a mule, too smart for her own good, and definitely a blessing.
She is great big sister and very helpful.
She loves Magic Tree House books and she is a little obsessed with the Titanic.
She is an Aries and I think she is a Slytherpuff (Slytherin/ Hufflepuff hybrid.)
Thomas lives with his mom and he visits us irregularly. The situation is tense and that's all I will say.
He likes Sonic, Pokemon, and Five Nights At Freddy's (thought the latter is banned at our house)
He is 6 years old.
He is a Gemini and I would say that he is Hufflepuff.
Belle is the first twin (one minute older).
She is large and in charge. This child is the most bubbly silly child and brings a smile to everyone's face.
She loves animals and is gentle by nature with them, it's quite fascinating to watch.
She is a Cancer and I would say that she is my Gryffindor.
Asher is the second twin.
He is more refined and shy.
He is obsessive and meticulous. He has certain ways he does things and he finds peace in repetition and organizing.
He LOVES, LOVES trains. Like he needs rehab, it's a bit much.
Obviously also a Cancer and he is my little Ravenclaw, just like me.
Oh I have a fiance, too. His name is Tom.

He works for a moving company but work works locally so he is home daily.
He is a gamer, but not a nerdy gamer. If you know what I mean.
He has never read or watched Harry Potter but I am working on it, trust me.
He is a Cancer like me, a year younger than me, and according to Pottermore he is a Gryffindor.
So, down to business.
This blog is a mismash of many things. I plan to review books ideally once a week. I am trying to lose weight so I will probably discuss that. I will post about my kids and things we do. Toys and movies and such that they like.
What it won't be:
Pics and recipes of things I cook cause I ain't got time for that. (or the talent tbh)
Posts of daily adventures we go on, cause we don't go on daily adventures and we don't plan to start.
Updated on a schedule. I suck at goals. I suck a routines. I suck at schedules. I will post weekly at least. Ideally once I get in the swing of things I will have a loose schedule but emphasis on loose.
So join me as I fangirl Harry Potter, read and review books, parent my crazy children without going fully insane and just live this crazy life of mine.
